Junteenth Celebration at the African American Museum: "Princess Can Code" storybook reading time!

6/15/2024

Giving back to the community is what we love to do! The CompSci way. The children were all ears as they listened intently to the reading of "Somi, the Computer Scientist: Princess Can Code" storybook.  The kids were engaged and participated in answering various questions about the storyline and most especially about the Computer Science nougats they were learning.  Oh how exciting it was for them all.

Computer Science Edutainment for Kids program

3/22/2022

We completed our four after-school programs titled, "Computer Science Edutainment for Kids". Special thanks to private program sponsors and superstar volunteer, Ms. Jania, for making this possible!!

Instead of simply donating interactive Computer Science (CS) Somi dolls, CS storybooks, and CS Activity Books for Girls & Boys; we collaborated with local Afterschool nonprofit organizations (Boys and Girls Club in the Valley, ICAN) to teach fun CS activities to their K-6 members for a wider-reach.

#SpringBreak2022 has been filled with fun CS learning. The kids truly enjoyed the sessions. We're grateful for this opportunity to continue to make a positive impact in our local community.
